Wait, when did Portland decide they finally wanted flavorful Mexican food!? Damn, this is the first time I've had even a little bit of a tingle of spice in a standard menu item since I've moved here. I've grown accustomed to being disappointed by the bland Mexican food in this town, but dang, this is exactly the burrito I was hoping for. Well seasoned meat, perfectly portioned layers, just a little kick built-in. But then add in some of their Verde sauce, which again actually has flavor and spice to it, amazing! The burrito wasn't overly greasy or heavy either. Damn 10/10, I'm very happy!

The sweetest people work here and the food is amazing. The churros, taquitos and burritos have all been great and it’s easily my favorite burrito spot in Portland! Highly recommend to anyone

Took a walk in the rain today with the hubby and stopped by a food truck we had never tried before! La Pinata Takos makes some great street tacos! I had their shrimp taco, and it really hit the spot. The shrimp was delicious --- not too shrimpy and balanced well with the chipotle sauce they put on it. There were the perfect amounts of cilantro, onion, guacamole, lettuce, and cheese. I also really enjoyed the sauce they gave me on the side! (Please excuse my already squeezed lime. ) My husband ordered their American taco and said he quite enjoyed it as well! He especially liked how they charred their meat all the way through. The woman running the window was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. Our food was out quickly, but in enough time that you could tell love/preparation went into it. We will definitely be returning!

Stopped by this little truck in the 3rd Avenue food cart pod and it does not disappoint. Had the fish, shrimp and lengua tacos and they were all delicious! Love the spicy taco sauce.

Rice and beans had great flavor. Salsas were on point. Tried the asada and chipotle shrimp burritos and had to come back the next day to try their enchiladas. Will definitely be back when in town!

LADY AT THE FRONT IS SO SWEET !!! ALL LOVE FOR HER !!! Chicken burrito was 10/10, churros 10/10 will def be back, probably the best burrito in the downtown area
